Why bother tagging links?

  • What is a UTM link?

    A normal URL with little tags on the end (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) that tell your analytics where a visitor came from: which ad, email or post.

  • Do I need all the fields?

    Source, medium and campaign are the three that matter, fill those in every time. Term and content are optional extras for paid keywords or A/B tests.

  • Is it free?

    Completely. No login. Build as many links as you like.

  • Why do my links stop tracking?

    Usually a typo or inconsistent naming (Facebook vs facebook). Keep them lowercase and consistent, or let Neuron Track tag and check them for you automatically.
